Might be time to start thinking of Spring... if for no other reason than we are all getting tired of thinking of Winter!
In looking for what the spring trends are the repeating word is Neutrals. The reports on the top trends from Fashion Week (Spring 2010) talk about all of the nudes and neutrals on the runways.
I have found numerous off-white and the light sand sweaters as I have been shopping. They attracted me mostly because of the textures. The lack of color allows the weaves and stitches to revel in the light and shadow and not be distracted by color or patterns. This new cardicoat - AVALANCHE2day - uses many of those materials. I like the way the textures work. I like the idea of it working through the winter and into the spring - all depending on the layers you pair with it.

Thanks for the hint about Neutrals. I really couldn't find any trends for this year. The coat is spectacular as usual :)
